Answering questions most frequently asked by my clients
How long are the sessions?
Depending on the type of photoshoot and package selected, sessions typically run anywhere from 30mins -3 hours. My favorite time to shoot is golden hour. I like to schedule sessions within an hour before sunset to ensure we can obtain the best lighting and mood possible.
What do I wear?
After you book with me, we will discuss styling options but ultimately wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident!
When do I need to pay?
I require a 50% non-refundable retainer at booking to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due prior to your session.
Why pay a retainer?
The retainer is paid to secure the date you are booking with me. It is non-refundable and is applied to the total cost of the session.
What if it rains/reschedules?
I keep an eye on the weather before each of my sessions . In the event that there is inclement weather/an act of God, we can most certainly reschedule for another day. The retainer may be used toward the rescheduled date. Please keep in mind, the rescheduled date could be pushed out or rescheduled to a different time of day.
I understand Life happens and is at times unpredictable. If you need to reschedule please let me know ASAP. Sessions will usually only be rescheduled due to illness or inclement weather. Your first reschedule will be free, any after that will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
What is your turnaround time and how will I receive my photos?
Turnaround time is 1-3 weeks AFTER you make your selections within the proof gallery. You will be sent a digital online gallery where you can select images to be retouched. Once your images are done you will be able to download them from your private gallery.
You will receive a few sneak peeks within 48-72 hours after your session.
Prints – I do not guarantee the quality of your prints when ordering through CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or Costco. You have the option of ordering prints through me or I could provide you resources.
Do you provide location ideas?
Depending on the look you are going for I can recommend specific locations. I typically shoot outdoors.
Can I have unedited images?
No. I do not send unedited images as it is not a reflection of my work.
Can I put my own filters on your photos?
No. You cannot put your own filters or alter any images you receive as this reflects on my work that I spend hours creating just for you.
Would you alter my body upon request?
No. I do not offer body alterations. I only edit minor items such as blemishes, bruises, and basic skin smoothing.
